Playing guitar since he was 10 years old, and after many years of honing his creativity in the jewelry industry, Robert started making custom guitars in 2017. His specialty is hand crafting one of a kind, bespoke electric and acoustic guitars, basses, and other stringed instruments. His focus on beautiful woods, many native to New Mexico, and meticulous attention to detail have made his instruments popular with a number of local musicians. 

Guitar “the Sloth”

Body is Poplar and Walnut with a New Mexico Pecan top.  The blue burst and head stock are hand dyed.  The Indian Rosewood fretboard has custom Mother of Pearl fret markers. The guitar is fitted with chrome Fender tuners, custom Otto pickups and a Gotoh chrome bridge.  This is truly a one of a kind instrument.

Guitar Curly Maple Top

This guitar is made with a one piece Poplar body. The top is beautiful Curly Maple and it has a Flamed Maple neck and Birdseye Maple fretboard.  Chrome Fender tuners, custom CDS audiophonics pickups and the Gotoh adjustable bridge finish off this custom guitar, making it a functional work of art.

Hey, Robert. First outing report on the custom P-bass. Tone: FABULOSO. That thing has a *beautiful* set of voices that work well over many applications. It airs beautifully in those mids, and blends so nicely. It speaks really clearly across the entire fingerboard. No muddy spots, and no spots where the sustain suddenly dies (Fender P-basses are known to do that around the 5th position on the G string).

Thank you Robert for the great bass. It plays very smoothly, and has great fretless tone. The neck feels similar to my precision, which is exactly what I wanted. I look forward to playing it live with our band Big Violet. Now I have to practice so everything I play doesn't sound like I'm from the 1980's 😊
